What creates happiness? Basically, the environment around us. There are very few things which make us smile in daily life. When I decided to participate in the design competition, I made a set of things, which make me happy like balloons in the air, kids swinging in the garden, kites flying, bubbles all around, pinwheel in a child’s hand etc.
All these elements had one thing common and that was their moving element. So basically happiness can be created by interaction (kids swinging), by being playful (bubbles all around), by independence (kite flying), through colors (balloons), and achievement like (pinwheel in a child’s hand).
So I thought of using moving part of these elements and design a trophy, because trophies are just their kept on our table. It is just a one-time winning experience and after that it’s in our memory, no one else can be happy about it. So for me trophy should be something which always makes you happy about that moment and makes you feel proud about your achievement in life. That is only possible if the person himself has a positive attitude.
A positive energy anticipates happiness, joy, health and a successful result.
My concept of trophy is having a pinwheel, as the rotation of the pinwheel will always remind you to keep going in life and create positive energy everywhere. Also like the way the pinwheel rotates, life is also a moving in circle and has good and bad times (ups and downs). But that should never stop us from Creating Happiness.
